GROW
in Learning & Prayer
Grow is the pillar where discipleship takes root. This growth happens through scripture, study, prayer, and relationships, connecting those further down the road of faith with those just starting out.
You will find these connections in Sunday School, small groups, Wednesday nights at The Gathering, and through the quiet, faithful work of our prayer ministry.
To support this mission, our Grow Team meets quarterly to evaluate and plan all discipleship initiatives at FUMC. This includes everything from Sunday School and family ministries to ensuring our prayer ministry carefully tends to every request entrusted to us.
Two specialized groups operate within this team to focus on specific needs:
Family Ministry: Focuses on discipling children, students, and their parents together as a family unit.
Cradle-to-Grave Discipleship: Explores and maps out what following Jesus looks like at every unique stage of life.

to Serve & Invite
Go is where faith turns outward. We believe that what we have received, we are called to give away. Through local service, global missions, and personal invitations, we share God's love with our neighbors and make room for others to encounter grace. Our Go Team plans and guides our missions and outreach via the ongoing partnerships and short-term opportunities that let us serve Cleburne and beyond and provides an important way we invite others into life with Jesus and this church family.
