From their first Sunday in the nursery to a week at camp with friends, we want every kid at FUMC to know they're loved by God, and that they're already disciples - growing in faith and surrounded by a church family committed to their success.
Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, camps, and more - there's a place for your kid to belong here.

Nursery | 8:45 am –12:00 pm

Nursery care is provided for infants through PreK every Sunday through both worship and Sunday School times.

Nursery care is also provided for infants belonging to those participating in The Gathering on Wednesday nights for participating families.

Sunday School | 10:00 am

We start together in the Gym for a little gathering time, some play, and a couple of songs, the kind that teach books of the Bible, fruits of the Spirit, and that they'll belt out again at camp.
Then kids head to their classrooms in the Kids Hallway.
Pick-up is at the classroom door when class ends.
  • Godly Play (PreK–Kindergarten) | Room 119. Imagination-based, Montessori-style Bible storytelling.
  • Bases (1st–3rd grade) | Room 117. Bible and faith basics using trusted curriculum from Cokesbury and Augsburg Press.
  • GAP Kids (4th–6th grade) | Room 119. A three-year journey through the whole Action Bible to deepen their grasp of God's story.

Wednesday Nights | The Gathering

The Gathering is our whole-church Wednesday night discipleship time. During the school year, especially through our two Gathering seasons each fall and spring, that means kids, students, and adults all join together for food, fellowship and learning.
  • 5:30–6:30 pm — Dinner, all ages
  • 6:30–7:30 pm — Age-based discipleship time
    • Younger Kids (PreK–2nd) — Room 117
    • Older Kids (3rd–6th) — Room 119

Bible Camp

One night away at Glen Lake Camp for 3rd–6th grade. 
S'mores, scripture, and a whole lot of fun!

Summer Camp

Two nights at Glen Lake Camp for 1st–4th grade,
a full week for 3rd–6th.
The kind of week they'll talk about all year.

VBS

Presented every summer; kids from throughout the community are welcome. VBS is often the first time a child in our community meets Jesus. Through programs that feature games, songs, and stories, children experience a fun and faith-building time built to be remembered happily far past the last day.

Beyond Sunday

And that's just the start. Throughout the year, especially in summer, we add fun, one-off events that change year to year.
